Everything about the Zenith's New Skeleton Pilot Watch

Zenith has greeted us in the summer of 2015 with a new fantastic model for the Pilot line. With new features, both technical and regarding a totally new design, this watch is very searched by the collectors.

This remarkable timepiece presented on the site is TYPE 20 TRIBUTE TO LOUIS BLÉRIOT . On the dial we can find engraved with a distinguised artistry Louis Blériot's journey across the English Channel.
The 5011 calibre brings back the first powerful pocket-watch calibre and it's entirely hand-engraved. The manual movement works at a 18,000 VpH (2.5 Hz) frequency and has a minimum 48 hour reserve. The mechanism is created with 19, has 134 components and is 10 mm thick.
As for its functions , you can find the hours and minutes situated in the centre of the dial and the power-reserve can be found at 3 o'clock. The small seconds are at 9 o'clock.
The case is 60 mm in diameter and is made by sapphire with white gold bezel, lugs and crown and has an 18,5 mm thickness. The domed sapphire crystal has been polished with an anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The caseback material is a transparent sapphire crystal and was entirely skeletonised in order to have a full view to the mechanism.
The dial has a special feature being made from a meteorite and both the arabic numerals and hands are coated in SuperLuminova SLN C1.
The strap is made from an elegant black alligator leather with protective rubber lining as for the clasp, it is made from platinum and has a pin buckle.
